The story starts many years ago with two brothers, one that loved to cook and the other that loved to eat. — Especially burgers. Luck have it, they both grew up in the restaurant business and had access to everything they needed to perfect their recipes and creations.
The two brothers created their own blend of fresh ground beef and burger rub, seared the burgers to lock in the flavor, put it on an open flame to capture the best taste God ever created and topped it with some of the finest ingredients mom and dad could afford. But that was not enough, they stuffed the ingredients between two patties and came up with what is now known as the "Blitz" Burger. — Named after their nicknames and ironically 20 year's later, their son's nicknames in school.
Aside from the Good 'ol Burger and Cheeseburger standby, they came up with culinary delights like the Texas Cowboy with bacon, cheddar, fried onion strings and BBQ drip. The Sicilian Burger with Italian sausage, basil, homemade mozzarella and marinara drip. Jersey Shore with pork roll, egg and cheese. And 27+ other conglomerations when you include the fresh ground, all white meat, chicken burgers such as the Bronco Chicken Burger, the Chicken Parm Burger, the Cordon Bleu Chicken Burger and much more.
Soon, all their friends and relatives were trying to convince them to open a restaurant based on the now named Blitzburger. But the time and circumstances never seemed right.
Until now and with a good friend that believed in them, Blitzburgers™ Grill and Café has finally become a reality.
